Data processing may be our core value proposition, but our contributions to member support extend to other key areas, where collaborating with our provincial partner Boards makes the accomplishments even stronger. For example, working through the Joint Rules of Cooperation (ROC) Task Force with CADREB and REBGV, we conducted a full review and implementation of revisions to the ROC with supporting documentation developed and released on WEBForms®. We also completed a review of the Residential Data Input Form, working with BCNREB, CADREB, and REBGV to ensure member changes align with listing conventions and implementing the refinements on Paragon® and WEBForms®.
Finally, an important new practice implemented last year, again aligning with similar actions taken by our partner Boards across the country, was to start displaying historical sale prices on Realtor.ca for residential properties for all active listings where a sale took place one year or more before its most recent MLS® listing date. Publicly sharing this data contributes to greater transparency and bolsters the reputation of the profession. By joining our partner Boards in BC and across Canada, FVREB is positioned as a leader, driving positive change and building trust.
